We’re a mobile catering company based in Grand Junction, Colorado. At Have Cooker Will Travel, we specialize in fresh for every event. weddings, reunions, business events, and all kinds of special occasions. Our focus is on quality, flavor, and friendly service — every time.
Q: Where are you located, and what are your operating hours?
You can find us at 2902 Patterson Road in Grand Junction. We're open 24/7 for our catering services. For our trailer service, we are open Thursday & Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We cater events seven days a week, though our truck stays parked at our main location.

Menu and Food Preparation
Q: What kinds of food do you offer?
Our menu is packed with smoked favorites. We serve pork ribs, pork, beef, chicken, sausage, hot dogs, and hamburgers ($1.50 per person extra). For sides, we offer potato salad, beans, coleslaw, roasted potatoes, green salad, and homemade Desserts.
Q: How is the food prepared?
Everything is cooked fresh — no reheating, no shortcuts. We cook everything fresh for your event to make sure everything is hot, flavorful, and ready when you are.
Q: Do you bring utensils and other essentials?
Yes! We take care of the whole meal experience. That means we bring the cups, plates, silverware, bread, sauces, iced tea, and lemonade. The price includes full setup, buffet service, cleanup, and we even leave behind any extra food for you to enjoy.

Q: What kinds of events do you cater?
We cater just about everything — weddings, family reunions, anniversaries, birthday parties, class reunions, team banquets, customer appreciation events, business lunches, hospitality rooms, golf tournaments, and seminars. Big or small, casual or formal — we’ve got it covered.
Q: What is the pricing for catering services?
Two meats, two sides, bread, iced tea, and lemonade:
30 people: $18.50 per person
50 people: $17.50 per person
75 people: $17.00 per person
100 people and up $16 per person
We add Grand Junction city sales tax to all orders. Gratuity isn’t included, but it’s always appreciated if you’re happy with our service.
Q: Do you offer pick-up or drop-off services?
Yes, we do! If you’re looking for something simpler, we offer pick-up or drop-off meals with two meats and two sides only (no paper products) for $12.00 per person. This option doesn’t include drinks or service.
Q: Do you charge for travel?
We charge $75 per hour after the first hour to help cover time and fuel.
